SOUND CHECK

30 YEARS OF MUSIC ACTIVISM SHOWN THROUGH
ART & PHOTOGRAPHY

6th - 23rd November 2025
St. George’s Bristol, Great George Street, Bristol, BS1 5RR

Re-presented in the stunning halls of St. George’s Bristol, the Sound_Check collection is back on show across November in honour of the impact and contribution that this historic venue has on the city of Bristol.

The exhibition brings together leading artists and photographers to reframe the past three decades of Bristol’s music culture. Curated by acclaimed street artist Sickboy and Adam Devonshire of IDLES, the collection hosts reimagined gig posters and photography that captures the raw energy, visual legacy, and social impact of the city’s vibrant music scene.

Sound_Check celebrates the power of shared experiences and acts as a visual snapshot of Bristol's ever-evolving relationship with sound, resistance and community; a city that keeps making noise and refuses to be quiet.
